Nation is a dark fable about nationhood and national identity.
It’s a storytelling show about the political power of stories, about the nation as an act of story and an act of imagination.
It’s about the act of nation-building as an act of violence.
It’s about the political leaders of nationalism and the power that they wield.
It’s about a fictional town where a very bad thing has just happened.
And you were all there to see.
Nation first performed at Paines Plough’s Roundabout at Summerhall in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2024
It is now available for touring across 2025.
